HUSET RESTAURANT

At the edge of the Arctic wilderness, just 1,300 kilometres from the North Pole, you'll find one of the world's most unexpected dining destinations.

Set inside one of Longyearbyen's most iconic buildings, Huset Restaurant combines award-winning Arctic cuisine, one of Scandinavia's most remarkable wine cellars and a dining room reimagined by renowned Norwegian architects Snøhetta.

For more than 70 years, Huset has been a gathering place for the people of Svalbard. Today, it welcomes travellers from around the world seeking experiences that go beyond the ordinary.

After a day spent exploring glaciers, sailing among icebergs or watching the northern lights dance across the Arctic sky, guests step inside to discover warmth, craftsmanship and flavours inspired by the landscapes outside.

A CULINARY JOURNEY THROUGH SVALBARD AWAITS

Every dinner at Huset is a journey through the Arctic.

Led by Head Chef Alberto Lozano and his team, our tasting menu celebrates local game, Arctic seafood, foraged plants and ingredients preserved at their seasonal peak. Each course tells a story of the fjords, tundra and traditions that shape life in the High Arctic.
